When we walked into the suite where the ladies were getting ready at Auberge du Soleil, we knew this was going to be a special kind of Napa elopement. Not only was the strapless, chiffon wedding dress divine, the Manolo Blahnik shoes were even better! And trust me, there is nothing better than getting ready for your wedding with your best friend and mom in the room with you. You’re excited, nervous, and emotional and it’s so much better with your girls around!
With the Maid of Honor wearing light pink, the bouquet created by EV Floral was the perfect complement with pink, peach, and cream flowers. The groom’s boutonniere (and pink tie!) perfectly matched and later for the ceremony, the aisle was strewn with matching petals and for the cake-cutting, the adorable cake was decorated with the same flowers – perfect for a Napa elopement!
The two families were from New York and the couple chose to get married Napa Valley, site unseen. (Who could blame them!) They chose their Napa elopement venue perfectly and brought their families for just a 10 person ceremony in the iconic La Pagode… the perfect place for an Auberge elopement. Their officiant (and friend), Natalie Kling, was a great addition to the family affair. The couple read their own vows during the ceremony and I swear… there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. They completed the ceremony by blending wine from New York and Napa to merge their lives together. Tears of joy for everyone!
After the adorable ceremony, we walked around Auberge du Soleil creating stunning photographs among the olive trees, sculptures, and beautiful landscaping that makes Auberge du Soliel such an incredible property for your Napa elopement.
