This private estate wedding is by far the most unique one we have ever had the pleasure of capturing. This couple from New Orleans originally wanted a destination wedding. After having a hard time deciding between all of their favorite places, they thought, well… let’s make one place like all our favorite places! The spot they chose was the bride’s family home, and had their ceremony at the same church her parents were wed. We reenacted their favorite epic photo outside the churches big doorway.
It made it that much more special since Ashley grew up in this home. And they were able to have all of their family and friends join them. Pretty incredible the way the design team transformed the property into an elaborate private estate wedding with a travel theme. They had it laid out with places like Rio, Paris, Tulum, Hawaii, Big Sur, and Hollywood glam party area with silent disco. There were food stations to match the cuisine and drinks from each setting. And they had a monarch butterfly entrance from their Gatsby era Rolls Royce. And that cake!
It was quite an event and it was very hard to limit the amount of photos to share – there are so many great ones! From her green shoes to his Kaleidoscope of her Boudoir photos with their matching French Bulldogs in tuxedos. AMAZING.
