I couldn’t possibly write a better blog post for this Chalk Hill Estate wedding than this couple did. So here’s all about their wedding in their own words!

“My husband and I didn’t look far before realizing that our wine country wedding would be perfect at Chalk Hill Estate wedding. One of our frequent pastimes is wine tasting and we have had countless days of too much fun learning about and drinking California wines while staring at the majestic beauty of wine country. Our fabulous wedding planner, Marilyn Ambra, made this entire day possible, with her incredible attention to detail and the ability to make our vision come to life. The ceremony itself was the most important part of the day and the location we chose within the winery couldn’t have felt more romantic and intimate, a park-like setting surrounded by rolling vineyards. We both love getting dressed up, so we suggested a black-tie optional attire for our guests. Walking down the aisle of white rose petals, standing hand in hand beneath the flowing chuppah of a delicate blush fabric and flowers, and exchanging our personal vows felt like a fairytale. We chose accents that aligned with the natural beauty of the surroundings, hoping to create everlasting memories for ourselves and our guests, who walked only a short distance to a cocktail party immediately following the ceremony. Chalk Hill offered a farm to table eating experience and much of the produce came from the property’s gardens. We selected an entirely gluten-free menu, including a delicious cake designed by a talented and artistic baker, Jill Habansky (Sweet Cake Sonoma). The chef made gluten-free challah that was passed from table to table. Our celebration included dancing to our favorite songs, a photo booth, and later in the evening, we served snacks that included an ice cream bar and regular and sweet potato fries. The last hour of the night consisted of possibly the most fun part of the evening – a silent disco. DJ David Carvalho (Boutique DJs and Entertainment) made sure to keep the party going until the last possible second. Another momentous part of the evening was when our photographer, Michelle Walker and videographer, Justin Ferar (Weddings on Film), snuck us away from our guests into the vineyards to take sunset photos. Not only do we now have unbelievable footage from this, but it was the only time my husband and I had a moment with just the two of us. From start to finish, it was an unforgettable day that we will always remember as one of the best days of our lives.”
