Check out this lovely Napa wedding at the amazing Auberge du Soleil. This intimate destination wedding was even more special since the couple came all the way from Chicago! They brought their closest friends and family with them to exchange vows in front of the epic view of Napa Valley.
They got ready (and had their first look!) at the beautiful Hotel Yountville – who later adorned their love suite with red petals for their honeymoon night. I just love the 1946 Packard they rented to drive from the hotel to Auberge du Soleil for their Napa wedding – and we stopped along the way to create beautiful portraits amidst the vineyards of the Napa Valley.
The styling by Rion Designs was very “Napa wedding chic”. So beautiful! (When working at a Napa wedding we always get excited when they are a part of the design.)

And here are my tips for your intimate destination wedding (especially when it’s a Napa wedding!)… 1. Invite the people you can’t imagine getting married without, 2. Choose a meaningful location (like Napa Valley!), 3. Visit your venue in person well before the wedding, 4. Never check your dress as luggage – it’s safer to carry it on the plane with you, 5. Hire local vendors that are familiar with your venue. It’s reassuring to know that if anything should go wrong, your vendors know exactly what to do.
