At a friends pool party 2 years ago, Erik and Jeff met. Last fall (on a cascading lemon grove overlooking the Amalfi Coast in Italy) they were engaged. And this weekend (at an intimate ceremony surrounded by their family and closest friends) they were married in Sonoma.
To evoke the romanticism of their engagement in Italy, they were married at an Italian-style villa on a hilltop overlooking the Wine Country. It was a stunning backdrop for a wonderful wedding weekend.
After an emotional ceremony officiated by a dear friend, everyone escaped the warmth of the afternoon sun into the villa’s wine caves. A kings-table decorated with candles, succulents (by the uber-talented folks at Tesoro), and lots of lemons(!) was the perfect setting for an amazing Italian dinner created by the wonderful chefs at Elaine Bell. It was a perfect way to celebrate the love of this fabulous couple.
