An Elegant Traditional Wedding at Villa Montalvo on The Knot!

Ahhh… Villa Montalvo. My dream wedding venue… where I’ve wanted to get married since I was a little girl. It’s so nice see it published on The Knot today. Especially with such an elegant and fun couple. I love this wedding!

Most people might not meet their future spouse through the study of an ancient language, but for Cambia Green (26 and a medical student) and Bryan Rome (26 and an attorney) that’s exactly what happened. The pair met their freshman year of high school in Latin class. And it wasn’t Bryan that made the first move either. “Bryan was very focused and barely realized I existed,” says Cambia. “I, on the other hand, was taken with his intelligence, thoughtfulness and passion and he became my high school crush. However, by the time I mustered the courage to ask him out several years later, he was already dating someone else.” Their paths continued to cross after college, but Bryan was still in the same relationship from six years earlier and Cambia decided to throw in the towel. But good things come to those who wait, because a few months later, Bryan called Cambia out of the blue and asked her to meet him for coffee. The rest is history. A year and a half later, he proposed at the top of Yosemite Falls overlooking Half Dome. Cambia and Bryan’s wedding was the picture of timeless elegance. The Villa Montalvo provided a stunning backdrop for the affair with impressive Spanish architecture, lush gardens and a unique offering of vignettes to distinguish each part of the wedding. Lavish arrangements of soft ivory, blush and silvery blue blooms added an element of romance to both the ceremony and reception spaces, while silver accents and the couple’s striking, classic attire aded a traditional and formal note to the day.
